What to Have on Your Social Media Management Website

Hey, Social Media Manager! Set the oat milk latte down and let's work on your website!

Actually...maybe finish the latte, caffeine always helps.

Having a website as a social media manager will help you showcase your expertise and services, and build your authority and credibility. This could be exactly the sales point your potential lead could need to finally take that next step and contact you.

Of course, we are going to get into the nitty gritty here: what we should actually be including on our websites in order to convert our audience to paying clients.

Home Page

You need to capture your audience's attention from the get-go. Even more so, you need to inform them about what you do and lead them to the next steps (aka what page you want them to click next!). Your headline should explain what you do, and who you do it for in a compelling and quick way! Treat this like your social media bio, it needs to be informative and fun.

Services Page

Your services page should be not only a clear, structured breakdown of what you offer, but also why your audience needs this service! Explain the benefits clients will get from each service. Make a case for their pain points and why you are the solution to those. This is also a great place to add in your pricing. Pricing transparency can help greatly to filter out any of those that might not have the right budget for your services currently.

Portfolio Page

Your case studies, work samples, and client testimonials will do the heavy work for you! This page of your site should focus on what you can do. What can you showcase to hook in those leads? Your portfolio page should have case studies that fully explain how you got from your clients pain points, to your end result, so they see an extensive real-life example of how you can transform a business's marketing.

Helpful Blog/Resources

This is not only great as a lead magnet and informing your audience, but this will also be a huge SEO driver for you, too! Write blog posts about social media trends, tips, and best practices, and offer free guides and advice to further establish your credibility.

Clear CTA (i.e Book a Discovery Call)

Your website should have a clear CTA and lead potential clients to the next steps to work with you. Your CTA should be featured in many places and should be a direct link to your discovery call form, where you can ask leads questions that can be helpful to know before jumping on a call with them. This can include their social handles, their shark tank pitch to get to know their company, their budget, any current goals or pain points, and a link to book a call with you directly after that (we love using Dubsado or Calendly for this!)

Newsletter Signup / Opt In

Your email list is such a powerful tool! Encourage your site visitors to sign up for your newsletter for updates and exclusive content, include an opt-in or lead magnet to make it even more enticing. This can be in your footer, at a pop-up, promoted in your blogs, or even it's own separate page if you'd like!

By including these elements, your website will not only attract potential clients but also establish your credibility and showcase your expertise as a social media manager!
