There is one campaign in particular that we are obsessing over today that we can't wait to analyze with you. Email marketing is one of the services offered here at Social Savvy. So, Black Friday was packed with email marketing campaigns, and this one in particular we are highlighting today.

The Background

Our client, whom we'll call Client C for confidentiality, specializes in digital products sold exclusively from their website. The products range anywhere from $80 to a little over 1k in price and are built specifically for business owners.

The Black Friday Sale

For their Black Friday weekend campaign, we went big. It was a site-wide blowout sale on all products at 30% off. This sale was highlighted across social media, but our main focus was leveraging email marketing.

The Results

Let's get to the good part, what all came out of this? The Black Friday campaign was a success, generating a total revenue of $4,817. But what’s more impressive is how this revenue was achieved and the role of strategic email marketing.

Out of the total revenue, a significant 79.06%, or $3,809, was directly attributed to email marketing. And, if this doesn't prove the impact of a well-thought-out email strategy during Black Friday weekend, we don't know what will!

What are Plain Text Emails?

Exactly as the name alludes to, they are emails that are sent in plain text. So instead of images, they are just in simple text. This can be beneficial for less bandwidth, security purposes, personal preferences, and not setting off spam filters.
