Our 2025 Marketing Predictions

The champagne has been popped, the fireworks displayed, and the new planners have been broken out — 2025 is officially here and we couldn't be more excited for all that this new year has in store!

Not to brag, but all of our 2024 predictions came true throughout the year. So, we are feeling very qualified to do yet another new year, new predictions blog for you all! There are many new things we can see coming to light in the new year, but here is a rundown of a few of our top predictions we are expecting in the marketing and social media world in 2025.

Less Trending Audios and Creating Your Own Trending Audios

Trending audios have constantly cycled throughout the year, but what if they cycled OUT? As we are writing this, the current trend is to remove the trending audio and post the real, raw audio behind your videos. That means that noisy crowds, laughs from your team, and quiet mornings with a cup of coffee in hand are getting their moment — and we honestly love this! We constantly talk about authenticity, but cover up our videos with a trending audio and I think we could see a real sway away from that in 2025. With that, your team BECOMING the trending audio! Who says trending audios are only created by celebrities and movies? Add your own goofy audio and see who uses it!

Employee-Generated Content / Employees Featured in Content

2025 is the year of the TEAM! We think that hearing from a company's team will become increasingly popular in 2025. We want all the employee's favorites, least favorites, advice, and opinions when it comes to the product. The real faces behind the brand will be the best for promoting your product/service!

AI with Human Touches

We aren't in a place anymore where we can't leverage AI! As marketers, we have to learn to leverage AI, because it's a resource to us, not a replacement. There are thousands of AI tools out there and we want to be able to effectively use them in our marketing strategies, yet still add in those personal touches. We don't ever want our audience to feel like they talking to an AI bot, so how can we add human touches in every brand touchpoint to connect?

Shares are the New Metric to Watch

We know that in 2024, Instagram announced that shares are the metric they prioritize, so we are starting to see more brands take this into account for their content. In 2025, we think we will see more brands continue to prioritize this and create content that's shareable. Create the type of content that you want to send to your friends and family because that's what is going to lead to success in the new year!
