How To Spend Time On Engagement, Without Scrolling for Hours

The scroll daze is real…

Engagement is such an important element of social media management. It helps build relationships with your audience, establishes brand loyalty, adds personality, and starts conversations and connections within your network.

On the other hand, social media can be addicting! When we are engaging on our own accounts or even clients, we can come across a lot of interesting content that we want to get lost in (even though our calendar is booked enough already!) To combat this, let's try a few of these tips -

1. Set goals

Everything is better with a goal in mind! Just like anything on social media, you can set goals to stay on track when it comes to engagement, too. These can be goals like - engage with X amount of accounts during this time block, or comment on X amount of posts, watch X minutes of stories, etc.

2. Consciously scroll

As much as we love to zone out and get lost in content, try to pay attention to what you're consuming. If you feel yourself zoning out - definitely take a break from engagement and try coming back to it later.

3. Be genuine

Instead of a crazy comment fest, focus on engaging with the content that really speaks to you. Not only does Instagram recognize repeat comments, but it can actually flag you for it, too! So, it's a win-win when it comes to being real and genuine.

We hope these tips help stop the scroll daze for you and get back to achieving those amazing socials results 👏
