Pros And Cons of Canva's Content Planner

Canva and social media managers are definitely inseparable when it comes to content creation!

But, did you know that Canva also has a content planning feature? This means that you can ditch your scheduling tool and create content, schedule it, and automatically post directly to your business social media accounts.

Should you switch to Canva? We tried it out and here's our full list of pros & cons to consider before making the switch!

Pros:

  • Automatically schedule content to be posted at specific times, allowing you to plan ahead and make sure your content is always up-to-date.

  • Fewer tools and additional fees. If you are paying for Canva Pro and for a scheduling tool, this is a workaround to paying the extra cost!

  • Saves time from downloading and uploading to a new tool. Since you can create your content in Canva, there's no need to wait for it to download, then re-upload it to the scheduling platform.

Cons:

  • There is a limit to how many posts you can schedule at one time (25).

  • You have to use the mobile Canva app to post stories and Reels.

  • You may need to pay for additional features, such as analytics and tracking.

  • It can make your Canva a little chaotic, since you have to create a separate file for each post within Canva, and you cannot edit the file after it's been scheduled.
