Our Favorite Apps + Resources For Creating Instagram Content

Who doesn’t love a good app? We’ve compiled a list of apps that will help you create content for Instagram, schedule content in advance, and resources to grow your Instagram profile.

APPS FOR CREATING INSTAGRAM CONTENT

Unfold - This is an editing app for creating beautiful and simple Instagram stories. They have tons of templates that you can choose from and tailor to your brand.

Tezza - We all know that Tezza is an amazing content creator, but did you know that she has an Instagram editing app? The Tezza app comes loaded with presets, posing guides, and helpful Instagram tips!

Prequel - Prequel is a video and photo editor that lets you add unique effects to your content. There are a ton of different retro/vintage effects and frames that will help make your content stand out!

Canva - There's a reason I'm always talking about Canva! It's a graphic design tool for the non-graphic designer. It simplifies the process of making anything from Instagram highlight covers to YouTube thumbnails!

Over - Another great app for designing content is Over! Easily store your brand assets so all of the graphics you create are on brand. They even have stock photos loaded in so you can easily source those too.

LifeLapse - Have you ever wondered how to make those cool timelapse videos? That's LifeLapse! It's a fun addition to your app lineup and keeps your video content interesting!

APPS FOR SCHEDULING INSTAGRAM POSTS

Planoly - When you need to schedule all of the posts and videos you've created, Planoly is a great tool for this. Visualize all of your posts, and even schedule Stories as well for the month. This is perfect for making sure your feed is cohesive and on brand! You are able to connect your business Facebook page as well.

OTHER RESOURCES TO UP YOUR INSTAGRAM GAME

Savvy Hashtag Vault - The best way to grow your Instagram account organically is by using hashtags. Hashtags are searchable keywords behind a ‘#’ symbol. Instagram allows for you to add all 30 hashtags to your posts, and you can share them in the caption or the first comment of the post. Find the best hashtags for your niche in the Savvy Hashtag Guide!

Notes app - This app may seem simple, but it keeps my Instagram content flowing! I store all of my hashtag sets that I build from the hashtag guide, and I even brain dump ideas for Instagram captions.

Unsplash - When you are out of brand photos to use, I recommend using stock photos that match your brand, aesthetic, and industry! Unsplash is a great resource for free stock photography for use on social media.
